Taking risks (short essay)

Taking risks

The risk comes from embracing the unknown and learning through the whole experience. We take risks every day. For example, when we go to work or school by car, bus or another transport, when we go to the swimming pool, when we try new food, go to a new place, or just do something for the first time. Though some people are afraid of taking risks or difficult choices,  there are more and more people that like taking risks, enjoy being afraid, and just want to try everything.

Risk-taking is not necessarily doing the most dangerous thing, but it’s more about making yourself vulnerable. I think it’s really cool if you’re brave enough to take serious risks every day. Even if you don’t know what will happen after your choice, you must take the risk, and if something goes wrong, you’ll at least know that you've tried. I can’t say that I’m too risky. I’m always afraid of taking some risks, and that’s one of the qualities that I don’t like and I’m trying to change it for being ready for everything. Our life is too short to let our fears overcome us. We need to learn taking risks, and make our life interesting, full of actions and adventures, because risk-takers take advantage of the opportunity to learn, experience, and grow.
